Questions before you write
The visitor center is open in published hours and needs no booking. The nesting slope does, because groups are kept small and the trail closes while birds are on eggs. Arriving without a booking is fine for the center, and a keeper will offer the next available slope place.
Messages sent during business hours are usually answered the same working day. Enquiries that need a survey check, such as a sponsorship match or a term booking, may take two or three working days while the keeper confirms the season with the field crew.
Yes. Restoration days are supervised and limited in number so that planting is done carefully. Write with your availability and any outdoor experience, and the office will send the next planting date along with the clothing and footwear brief. Training is given on the day.
